Tell me how.
"Choose your battle." That was the advise a close friend of mine gave.
As if choosing what to wear to work on a daily basis isn't hard enough.
I wish life would be simpler - less choices and easier to make. Like Barry Schwartz said; Happiness is when your expectation is low. So choose and make the right choice.
But tell me how.
I still can't figure.

Travelling Europe Part II - Welcome to Barcelona!
So, yeah . it has been a while since i travelled back from Barcelona and this entry has been long overdue. I have been busy. Period.
Right afte the Congress, it was a total whole new journey. I have never been out of country alone - except for my trip to Japan last year.
Thanks to Airbnb my journey was bareable. Frankly, I didnt spend much on accomodation. Since I was travelling solo, none of my stay were in hotels. Well, except for the one in Paris because there was a huha about the requirements to have an invite, documentations etc which was made last year. You may check full entry on this blog. I had to go through similar process 10 years ago when I went to visit my family in Japan, so it was totally no fuss for me back in the days when visa is required to enter Japan. Anyway, just to clarify, you are obligated to fulfil the requirements only if your first entry to Europe is through France. Meaning, if you are entering Europe Via Spain for example, you do not need to have these documents. But of course, it is a standard requirement whenever you visit any country, you need to show all the details pertaining your stay, nature of visit and bla bla bla. It is basic common sense. So anyway, during the first week in Barcelona was all about work. We stayed in a comfy apartment just a walking distance to the metro which costed only around 6K for a total of 8 days. It was a 3 bedroom apartment that fits 6 of us. That was a real bargain, cos one of our client had to stay in a hotel, an hour away from the city and costed him almost 5K only for 4 nights!
It has always been my dream to visit Andalusia and relive the history. I made my way down south, where my solo journey began. There was 'Rob me' written all over my face, i guess. I got pick pocketted on my first day. At that moment, I had to decided whether i should go back home or continue my journey. I mean, it was pretty scary and held me back a little which I almost gave up, but I didnt. It was a once in a life time opportunity which I had to grab - so I just went ahead. It was a massive 3 days experience but I wouldn't mind going through it again.
Long story short - I got pick pocketted, lost 200 euros. Went into the wrong deck in the train. Had to move to another deck. Stayed in a sleeping coach with grannies and a nice lady. Reached Granada in Andalusia (everyone told me it wasnt going to be cold as i was travelling south, got there and it was snowing). Bought a wrong bus ticket from Granada to Cordoba. Ended up in the bus station for 12 hours. Missed Cordoba and went straight to Seville. Had to drag my huge luggage bag for almost 2km. Didnt bathe for 3 days but I smelled good. Wasted almost 500RM on that trip alone but it was awesome.

Travelling Europe Part 1
So, everyone was asking me about my Eurotrip I did last month. Work has been keeping me busy so I didn't really have the time to update anything. I know it has been a while.
It was a 16 days trip, business and personal. I had to attent a congress on the 2nd to 5th of March and the rest of the days are jalan-jalan. There were 6 of us on the way over but I came back alone. I'd have to say that travelling alone is the way to move around. It was such a wonderful and stressful experience at the same time. I went from Kuala Lumpur to Barcelona with a stop over in Amsertdam. I wish I could have stayed longer in Amsterdam cos I didn't get the chance to see the city, but I was glad I had the experience tho.
Travelling with a group of friends/colleagues is not the same as travelling alone. When there are 6 of us, it means, 6 different taste, perangai, pattern, likes, dislikes, preference and blablabla. So basically, you need to respect and tolerate one and another. it applies the same in your everyday life, no different. I don't drink and eat strictly halal food. My friend doesn't eat beef. We managed to find a way to compromise and we had a great time.
7 days abroad costs a lot of money. We packed our own food like brahims, ikan bilis, sambal and tonnes of instant noodles. It saved us so much cos a meal in Barcelona is between 8 to 20 euros. That is about 32 to 80 Ringgit. Crazy! Our routine for that week was to prepare ourselves with breakfast and came home to dinner which we had to cook. Not really a big deal cos we just had to reheat whatever that we brought from home. But during the conference, God knows, how tiring it was cos the conference hall was huge. I was quite surprised the average distance we walked in a day is 25km - tracked it on Google Fit. I came home thinking I must have lose some kgs, but I didn't. such a bummer.
The whole city was filled with human beings. I was told that is not the case on normal days. It's due to the congress that everyone was over populating Barcelona. The hotels rate were insane - let's not go there. We managed our accomodation on Airbnb and costs and was awesomely reasonable. Everything in the First week was manageble and I had a super awesome time. Something that I had never imagined I would be able to experience.

Permit Renewal Part 6.
Ah, pejam celik, pejam celik, dah 6 tahun I've had my maid.
I need to have this done every year. And every single year, I always can't seem to remember the process.
I would have to say that my experience to have the permit renewed is very smooth. Overall, I didnt encounter any difficulties while having this done, except that I am not able to get a spot to park my car in KDN - nothing new.
Just incase if you think that you have actually reached pasar malam, do not doubt yourself. You are at the right place. KDN is pasar malam - with all the stalls and booths opened. I am not sure if this is due to an event or watever, but it was really crowded with lotsa people.
The direction was bad. Arrows are showing left or right but it could be better with the signage (the A4 paper) permit pembantu rumah - tingkat 2. Fail.
Anyway, I made myself to the counter and there weren't many people. So I took a number and just sat there. The lady at the counter buat bodoh je, didnt even ask me if my number is up, since i couldnt tell sebab the numbers cant be read. ughhh..
But overall, the process was smooth. I got everything done in 30 mins. The lady took my thumb print and advised me to do it over myeg 3 months before the visa expires. I paid 600++ for the visa which i cant remember what was the breakdown.
To summarize, the process was quick and easy - apart from the fact that staff must be trained to be more efficient and friendlier. But nothing new, like really, nothing new.

God is Mysterious.
Never doubt the fact that God work in his own myterious ways.
I always prayed for good things to happen. And at some point, they seem to be so far away. But as time goes by, I learned that God work in his own way.
Never doubt.
Never.
Ever.
Ever.
.... Doubt.

Friday I'm in love!
When I look back of what I wrote yesterday, I realized one thing. I was writing out of emotion lah basically.
Okay, so what if I haven't moved on? Not that I haven't moved on, just wondered a bit there - that there is a little birdy, putting up some effort to let me know that I need to move on. The fact that the little birdy is so concern about my being is just so... weird. For every action there is a reaction. What are you going to do about if I haven't moved? What is the matter? Am I not entitled to still have feelings towards someone who I used to share my life with? There is a button for me to push so that I would feel nothing? I like the way how people think these days. They love the impossible to be possible. Way to go!
To say move on to me like it was nothing; That is just so low. Yes, I need to move on and I am moving on towards my betterment, don't you worry about that. Tapi moving on doesn't mean lepas tangan and being irresponsible. I think my heart is numb enough to suck up to all these crap that I don't think it's even worth my time to be stuck in the past.
I think rather than focusing the fact you may think that I haven't moved on, why not focus on being a little bit more responsible and be matured about it like - Hey, I how are you doing? I heard that you have picked yourself up? Time is the best healer and be strong. or maybe somthing like - Sorry about what happened. You're going to be fine. kan lagi positive?
Just saying.
If you really follow my blog, I bet you wanna stay tune for more entries cos I think I might get more personal :) bwahahahahahahaha.
We'll see.
