I dont need to go into details but my experience on MH have once made me break down and cry. From the management, the staff and the whole bloody experience was so bad its making me sick just to think about it.
AK on the other hand, Id give 5 thumbs up. Eat your heart out MH cos I'm saying this again, 5 thumbs up for AK. I know a lot of people complaints a lot about AirAsia but to say so, I dont think they've experienced other airlines and the treatment these other airlines give you. Again, I dont have to start with MH. you pay 3 times more than AK and you get the lousiest treatment. Why not just travel with AK and expect to be treated like crap in the first place right?
Well, before i flew with airasia i thought the whole journey was going to be lousy. turned out my trip to melbourne last year was smooth and overall id say it was ok. it was way better than i expected. on the other hand, i thought my journey to florence with malaysian airlines was going to be perfect since we have spent about 8k on the tickets. like seriously. but it turned out to be the worst ever and I was utterly upset i broke down a cried. it was really. really. BAD. capital B-A-D. Initially i wanted to do it the cheaper way which was to travel to STN on AK but it had to be on informal connecting flight so i guess it was going to be too much hassle and quite risky for me in case there are flight changes and etc. so i went with MH instead and would cost me a lot more but i figured it was a formal connecting flight it shouldnt be to bad for me since ill be travelling with amyra alone. i guessed wrong anyway.
Al Italia and Ryan air? which one do i begin with? Al italia is plain rude, useless and i am left speechless. Id shove my foot up the cabin crews mouth any day. gound handling was lousy and cabin crew - yelled at me cos amyra was not strapped. WTF rite?
Ryan air - is good for nothing airline that charge you on every single thing they can. like. every. single. thing. so if your looking for cheap air fare, you'll get it. what you dont get is free treatment. to compare ryan air and airasia, I'd say AK is 10 times better than RyanAir. So i dont get why people still complaint about air asia being lousy and etc when they've obviously never flown on any other airlines other than MH and AK. you cant compare these two. theyre totally 2 different things. like as i mentioned, when you fly MH you expect the best, and why you fly AK you expect the worst, or at least, your expectation is not as high as MH if youre flying with AK right? the only thing about Air Asia is the stewardess are plain, grumpy and makes me wanna slap them while they serve you. I was on the plane for 8 hours and when i look at their faces, all i want to do was to slap them so badly. please put on your best smile while serving ok? thats your job so do it right god dammit.
We actually planned to have a vacation in Australia next year and the fare was super low yesterday. Unfortunately, I missed out on that one -
it was so hard to purchase the ticket and i waited til 1am to get it but not successful. thank god it wasnt sucessful cos ayman would have killed me by then cos we're a little short these few months so yeah, id have to say bye bye to those tempting offers. i mean look at the prices offered!! RMR 111 KUL-MEL and RM 260 MEL-KUL? its too good to be true.
as i click on to the next page, it wasnt as cheap as it looked like. it came to a total of RM 795 for a return flight KUL-MEL-KUL / 1 pax. RM 1590 total for both of us. and that is not inclusive of baggage and food. it will be quite a figure right? i keep telling that to myself so that i wont feel bad of letting go of these seats T_T it worked ok so far. hahaha.Anyway, to conclude, AK is so far the best ive traveled with. compare RM per RM, you get wat you paid for. so why do i need to pay more for something tht i can get cheaper? in the end of the day, i will still get to my destination. what i kind of treatment i get on the plane is the difference. but most of the time ill be sleeping all the way, so it doesnt matter much. AK will still be the best option. MH, the only way for you to improve is to train your lousy staff. Product knowledge, hospitality and professionalism. youre lacking in so many ways. sigh.
