My Rusty Romance
When I created the looks for the contest, I did a few looks to go with the bag. Frankly, I loved all the looks but Spring dance was my favorite to be honest. But many told me that they prefer Glam Rock and Rusty Romance most. Funny cos of all the people i asked, NONE said they like my spring dance. like, NONE, ZERO. I created spring dance with the spring weather still felt on my skin, hence the black boyfriend blazer. I wanted it to be girly and fun at the same time and the flowers just brings out season.
Since many people like Rusty Romance, I decided to go with that look for Reebonz to upload it on their FB page. Rusty Romance is mainly about being carefree and happy, also a bit of a hippyish. I love the idea of having a flower in my hair. I do it all the time. Reminds me of Jasmine Trias of American Idol.
Anyway, people been buzzing me where to get the look. The tube dress is from Forever 21 and the faded vest is from DKNY. I'm sorry about the accessories cos I cant really remember where I found them :P But the shoes, omg... I found it from a blog that has so many many many many many gorgeous shoesssss, I drooled over them. You can check it out here and see what i mean.
Earlier when they told me that I am one of the winner, I was jumping with joy. In fact, I still cant believe that I am the one they chose to be the winner. They told me that theyre having a poll where they're going to upload all the winner's best looks and people can vote by liking the looks. So today is the day when the vote is up. I'm really hoping to win that extra prize >_<
Please vote for me, ok? Thumbs up to you for voting!! Click here to vote. You have to like reebonz first before u can click to like my entry.

Jerra's Spring Cleaning Project
Since I have a lot of time to spend, I decided it would be a good idea to go on with my spring cleaning project that I've been holding for quite some time.
Growing up, I have a mom is very particular about 'wasting' things. So to me, she ended up being a hoarder, which i never want to be. So practically, at least once a year a spring cleaning is a must.
It took me a lot of time to do it. A strong determination is very important! I spent almost a week doing this and I couldnt be happier. I usually start from the smallest room to the master bedroom. I always start with the easiest first so I can work my way to the hardest. I'm not the kind of person who saves the best for last.
So, when you want to clean your house, you first need to get rid of the clutter, or the stuff that you dont need to use anymore. You can do this by piling them up in a box according to what they are. Segregate them into few categories like trash, recycle, donate, keep and etc. Only throw away the things that you dont need and wont be needing anymore. Things like broken lamp, old CDs or DVDs, expired make ups and etc. Toys, books, clothes are perfect example for things that can be donated. We should also recycle old newspaper & plastic ware and etc. And the stuff that can be used in the future belongs in the store. I'll get back to that later on how you can store them.
Always start from the master bedroom. This is how i do it. Why? it usually take a lot of time for me to get the whole house done. if you are doing this for the first time, it will take days. but if you are very consistent about spring cleaning(once a year) you will only need a day at least, to clean the whole house. Anyway, I like to start from the master bedroom cos since its a few day project, I need my nest to be clean and clear. it'll get rid of the tension. So, yes. always start from the master bedroom, to the next room and to the last room. Once the rooms are clear, you can proceed to the hall, dining and kitchen. The last place should be the store.
It was an intense cleaning, I had everything changed; the curtain and the bed sheet. Then the windows were cleaned as well up until the ceiling fan. When youre doing the cleaning, always remember to wear a face mask or at least cover your nose from all the dust cos its not good for your health. Like seriously, it does bad things to your lungs, I'm not kidding. haha.
Sorting things up
Seriously, I find that life is often wasted on finding misplaced things. At first I thought I was the only person on earth who always forget where I put my stuff but it turns out that most people forget things. It's because most people like to place things everywhere and here and there. I find it very hand when I got everything sorted, cos I know where to find them.
The store is the place where I put a lot of effort in this project. My store room is so small, probably like 3'x7' so there arent much to store. So what I did was, I segregate my stuff into a lot of categories, like food, diy, containers, etc then I put them into each compartment in the storage. Ikea has a lot of ideas on how you can get your storage organized. I'd really like their storage system. After your done with putting things into each compartment, Always have a label on the box/drawer/etc. I like to use the dymo labels and stick them on those boxes.
Always keep your stuff in the place where they belong. This way you dont have to do much when it comes to cleaning next year. Unlike other 4 seasons countries on earth, I'm glas we're living in sunny Malaysia where its warm all year long. At least we dont have to wait for spring. =D

Dinner at Jerra's
Ayman's friend from Bangkok is actually in town for a week. So I tot why not invite him over for dinner and show him Malaysian Hospitality :)
I made Wild Mushroom Soup with Garlic Bread as the started and then for the main course, I made Roasted Garlic Butter Chicken with Sauteed Veggies served with Brown Sauce. I serve with Coffee and Orange Juice. For the desert, I made Soy milk with Tong Yuen. And also Strawberry Jelly with Cream and Mixed Fruits.
I started to cook around 3PM++ cos by the time I got my groceries done it was already 2.30PM. I got everything done at around 6PM++ So basically the whole thing took me about 3 hours to be done. It didnt require a lot of effort to prepare these tasty dishes cos it was really simple. Definitely my favorite to serve to my guest not only because I dont have to trouble myself, also because its tastes sooooooo good that people would just go wow.
I'll get the recipes up on my next entry :D

Studio Ghibli
Again, I have the 'angin kebosanan' haunting me. Me and my husband will be celebrating our 5th anniversary this saturday and I have no idea what to do and where to go. I'd like to have another wedding ceremony; kinda like our dance and renewing our vows but i dont see that happening.
I've been collecting all the movies from studio ghibli and been spending my time watching them. I'd have to say that some movies were kinda like a snore fair to me but those award winning ones are really good. I dare not let myself watch 'grave of the fireflies' cos that will make me cry like crazy >_<
So far, I really enjoy Howl's moving castle, Princess Mononoke, Spirited away and Ponyo on the cliff. These are my fav so far. Check it out!
